Reducing Audio Distractions During PvP

Removing Unnecessary Sound Effects

The pack removes explosion, fire damage, death, cave ambient, and ender pearl teleport sounds. This eliminates audio clutter that can mask important combat cues like footsteps or incoming attacks. You'll hear threats more clearly without background noise interference.

Adjusting Totem of Undying Sound

The totem pop sound is replaced with a low-volume firework rocket noise, making it much less jarring when you or an opponent activates a totem. This keeps you focused during intense fights without sudden loud interruptions.

Sound Strategy in Combat

With reduced ambient noise, you can rely more heavily on audio cues to track enemy positions. Listen carefully for footsteps, tool usage, and combat sounds—they're now much more prominent in the audio mix.

Environmental Awareness

Cave ambience removal means you won't be distracted by atmospheric sounds when exploring underground bases or fighting in caves. This helps you maintain focus on actual threats rather than environmental audio.

Customization Note

If you find certain sounds still too loud or want additional adjustments, check your resource pack settings for audio-specific toggles that may allow further customization of sound levels.
