Improve Visibility During Combat with Shield Adjustments

Why Your Shield Position Matters

In fast-paced PvP, your shield can block critical information on screen. The PvP Basics Resource Pack repositions your shield lower, keeping your crosshair and opponent's movements in clear view while still protecting you.

How to Use This Feature

1. Equip your shield in your off-hand slot (right-click with it equipped to raise it)

2. Notice the lower position — the shield now sits below your normal line of sight instead of covering the center of your screen

3. Keep fighting normally — block incoming damage while maintaining full visibility of your opponent's position and health

4. Practice tracking — with improved sightlines, you can now see enemy movements and projectiles more clearly while defending

This adjustment is especially useful during sword duels or when facing multiple opponents, as you won't lose track of threats while blocking. The shield still functions identically for damage reduction; only its visual position has changed.
