Switch Between Performance Presets

Access Shader Settings

Press the shader configuration key (default: K) while in-game to open the shader menu. This brings up the settings panel where all visual and performance options are available.

Choose Your Preset

Locate the preset selection option in the main menu. PS FPS Shaders offers multiple profiles:

• Low Profile: Minimal visual enhancements with maximum performance. Use this on older systems or when you need high frame rates.
• Medium Profile: Balanced approach combining decent visuals with smooth gameplay.
• High Profile: Enhanced lighting and shadows for systems that can handle it.

Apply and Test

Select your desired preset and apply the changes. The shader will adjust shadow quality, lighting calculations, and other effects immediately. Return to your world and check your frame rate using F3 debug screen. If performance drops, switch to a lower preset. You can swap presets at any time without restarting your game.

Fine-Tune if Needed

After selecting a preset, you can manually adjust individual settings like shadow distance or brightness if the default doesn't suit your system or preferences.
