Tapping and Bottling

Maple Syrup Bottle is the key food item from maple trees. Find a Maple Log or Maple Wood tree, then collect the syrup into a bottle. Once you have a Maple Syrup Bottle, drink it or use it as an ingredient in cooking.

Building the Full Maple Set

Chop Maple Log blocks and craft them into Maple Planks. From Maple Planks you can make the full wood family: Maple Slab, Maple Stairs, Maple Fence, Maple Fence Gate, Maple Door, Maple Trapdoor, Maple Button, Maple Pressure Plate, Maple Sign, Maple Wall Sign, Maple Hanging Sign, Maple Wall Hanging Sign, and Maple Shelf. Use the stonecutter on Maple Planks for slabs and stairs to save material.

Boats and Storage

Craft Maple Boat from Maple Planks for river travel. Upgrade it to Maple Boat with Chest to carry items while sailing. Place a Maple Shelf against a wall to store bottles and small stacks.

Saplings and Renewal

Fulvous Maple Sapling, Mikado Maple Sapling, and Blush Sakura Sapling grow into their respective trees. Plant them on dirt or grass with light. Fallen Fulvous Maple Leaves, Fallen Mikado Maple Leaves, Fallen Sap Maple Leaves, and Fallen Vermilion Maple Leaves can be collected and placed as ground cover under the trees.
