Laying Roads with Asphalt

Asphalt is a dark, flat block for paths and roads. Place a line of Asphalt blocks across your base, then use Asphalt Slab for half-height curbs and Asphalt Stairs for ramps. Asphalt Wall works as a low barrier along the road edge. Combine Asphalt with Maple Fence posts and Moai statues for a roadside look.

Blunite for Walls and Structures

Blunite is a blue-toned building block. Craft it into Blunite Slab, Blunite Stairs, and Blunite Wall using the stonecutter for efficient conversion. Use Blunite as a foundation or accent band, and Asphalt as the surface above it. The contrast between the dark Asphalt and the blue Blunite reads clearly at distance.

Detailing the Build

Line paths with Oak Leaf Pile, Birch Leaf Pile, or Cherry Leaf Pile for a natural border. Add Dandelion Pile, Allium Pile, or Cornflower Pile along the curb. For a themed plaza, place Blush Sakura Blossoms and Cotton Sakura Blossoms in planters near the road. Use Coiled Vines on walls to break up flat Blunite surfaces. Keep Asphalt slabs on the outer edge so carts and boats have a clean transition.
