How to Craft Circuit Plates, Conductive Plates, and Platformed Plates

Plate Family

Project Red uses three plate types as structural and conductive components: Circuit Plate, Conductive Plate, and Platformed Plate. They are the backbone of logic gates, machine frames, and wiring assemblies.

Circuit Plate

Circuit Plate is the general-purpose board. It is crafted from Red Alloy Ingot and Silicon-family materials. Use it wherever a recipe calls for a mounting surface for chips. Keep a stack on hand — most logic blocks consume at least one.

Conductive Plate

Conductive Plate carries current between components. It is built from Red Alloy Ingot and Copper Coil or a similar conductive part. Use it where a Circuit Plate would not pass power, such as between a generator and a machine bank.

Platformed Plate

Platformed Plate is the reinforced variant, made by combining a plate with additional structural material. It is used in larger multiblock-style assemblies and where a recipe needs extra rigidity.

Production Line

1. Craft Red Alloy Ingot in bulk.

2. Craft Copper Coil and Iron Coil from Red Alloy Ingot and metal ingots.

3. Craft Circuit Plate, then Conductive Plate, then Platformed Plate as needed.

4. Store each type in its own chest.

Because all three share Red Alloy Ingot as a base, running short on Red Alloy Ingot stalls every plate recipe at once. Keep iron and redstone stocked.
