Adjust Lighting Intensity for Your Playstyle

Access Shader Settings

Open the shader configuration menu while in-game by pressing the designated shader menu key (usually accessed through your mod loader's settings or in-game options). Look for lighting or brightness-related sliders.

Customize Shadow and Sunlight Balance

Locate the shadow intensity and sunlight brightness controls. If you prefer brighter daytime exploration, increase sunlight values. For a moodier, more cinematic feel with deeper shadows, reduce shadow softness or increase contrast.

Test your changes by moving between sunny and shaded areas—caves, overhangs, and open plains will show the most dramatic differences.

Fine-Tune for Different Times of Day

Proismora's realistic lighting means sunrise and sunset create strong directional shadows. If these feel too harsh, slightly reduce shadow contrast. For underground mining, you may want to increase ambient light so caves aren't pitch-black, while keeping shadows defined.

Save Your Preset

Once satisfied, save your configuration as a custom preset. This lets you quickly switch between settings for different activities—cinematic exploration versus practical mining sessions.
