Find Legendary Pokémon Using Location Beams
Understanding Spawn Conditions
Legendary Pokémon spawn according to specific rules tied to biome, altitude, time of day, and weather. Use /checklegendary to see which legendary targets are currently possible at your exact location and current conditions.
Spotting the Beacon
When a legendary spawns in the world, a tall column of light (beacon beam) appears directly above it. These beams are visible from a considerable distance, making them easy to spot while exploring or mining. The amber glow is distinctive and unmistakable.
Locating and Approaching
Once you see a beam, navigate toward it. As you get closer, the beam becomes more precise. Move directly beneath it to find the legendary Pokémon waiting there.
Triggering Spawns Manually
If you want to attempt a spawn immediately rather than waiting, use /spawnlegendary. This command spends one spawn attempt and follows the biome and weather rules for your current location, giving you a chance to encounter a legendary right away.
