Adjust Shader Settings to Match Your PC Performance
Access the Shader Menu
Press the key to open the shader options menu while in-game (usually accessed through the Iris settings). You'll see a list of configurable parameters and preset levels.
Choose Your Preset Level
The mod includes four preset tiers:
- Performance: Minimal shader effects; best for lower-end systems
- Balanced: Moderate shadows and lighting; good for mid-range PCs
- High: Enhanced volumetric effects and color grading
- Ultra: Full soft shadows, volumetric light rays, and cinematic color grade
Select the preset that keeps your frame rate stable. You can monitor FPS in-game to confirm performance.
Fine-Tune Individual Settings
If a preset doesn't perfectly match your needs, you can manually adjust:
- Shadow softness and distance
- Volumetric light intensity
- Color grade strength
- Ambient lighting levels
Make small changes and test in different lighting conditions—sunrise, noon, and underground—to find your ideal balance between visual quality and smooth gameplay.
