Understand the Mega Showdown System

The Mega Showdown system lets you Mega Evolve your Pokémon mid-battle for a temporary power boost. This isn't a permanent evolution—it lasts only for the duration of the battle and grants stat increases, ability changes, and sometimes new typing.

Activate Mega Evolution

During your turn in battle, select your Pokémon's move or action menu. Look for the Mega Showdown option (usually appears when you have the correct Mega Stone in your inventory and the Pokémon is eligible). Confirm to trigger the transformation. Your Pokémon will instantly change form, gaining enhanced stats and its new ability.

Leverage the New Form

Your Mega-evolved Pokémon keeps all stat boosts for the rest of the battle. Use this window to deal heavy damage or switch strategies. Remember that Mega Evolution consumes the stone's use for that battle—you'll need to keep crafting new stones or manage your supply carefully for multiple battles.
