Craft Your First Mega Stone at the Smithing Table

Gather Your Materials

Before you can Mega Evolve your Pokémon, you need to craft a Mega Stone. Each Mega Stone requires specific crafting materials—typically rare ores, gems, or battle drops. Check your target Pokémon's stone recipe in your crafting guide or by hovering over the stone in creative mode to see exact ingredients.

Use the Smithing Table

Place a Smithing Table in your world (or find one in a village). Open its interface and place your gathered materials in the correct slots. The Mega Stone will appear in the output slot once all ingredients are present. Unlike other crafting tables, the Smithing Table keeps recipes simple and avoids conflicts with other mods.

Store and Equip

Once crafted, keep your Mega Stone in your inventory or hotbar during battles. You'll need it accessible when you want to trigger a Mega Showdown. Different Pokémon require different stones—Luxray needs Luxraynite, Flygon needs Flygonite, and so on. Collect multiple stones to Mega Evolve different team members.
