Using the Item Terminal and Crafting Terminal to Access Your Storage

Placing the terminals

Place an Item Terminal against your Pipe network so it connects to the Pipe run. The Item Terminal gives you a single interface for viewing and pulling items from every inventory on the network. Place a Crafting Terminal the same way when you want to craft directly from stored items.

Browsing and extracting

Open the Item Terminal to see the contents of the connected inventories in one grid. Use the search field to filter by name. Click an item to pull a stack into your inventory, or shift-click to move a full stack at once. This replaces walking between chests.

Crafting from storage

Open the Crafting Terminal to get a crafting grid alongside your network contents. Place the recipe in the grid; the terminal pulls the required items straight from the connected inventories instead of your inventory. Take the result out, and the ingredients are consumed from storage.

Keeping terminals useful

Both terminals only see inventories that are connected through Pipe. If an item is missing from the terminal view, that inventory is not linked. Extend Pipe to it or wrench the connection until it joins the network. With the network complete, the terminals become your main access point for everything stored.
