How to Build a Basic Pipe Network with Pipe Frame and Pipe
Laying the network
Place Pipe Frame blocks to define the route your items travel. Pipe Frame is the structural backbone; Pipe carries the items. Run Pipe along the frames between the block you pull from and the block you push to. A single unbroken line of Pipe is enough for a first setup.
Connecting endpoints
Attach the source inventory to one end of the Pipe run and the destination inventory to the other end. Items move along the connected Pipe from the extraction side toward the insertion side. If a run dead-ends, extend it with more Pipe or cap it with Pipe Frame.
Adding pressure
Place a Pipe Pressurizer on the network to keep items moving through longer runs. Without enough pressure, throughput drops on extended lines. Add Pressurizers along the route when you lengthen the network.
Adjusting with the wrench
Use the Pipe Wrench to rotate and reconnect Pipe and Pipe Frame segments. If a Pipe is not linking to a neighbor, wrench it until the connection faces the right direction. This is the fastest fix when items stop flowing at a junction.
Verifying flow
Put a stack of items in the source inventory and watch the destination. If nothing moves, check that every Pipe segment touches the next, that the Pressurizer is on the line, and that both endpoints are attached to inventories. Once items arrive, the core network is working and you can start adding modules.
