How to Build a Prefab Warehouse and Industrial Base

Placing the Warehouse

Craft a Warehouse and place it on flat ground. Upgrade it with an Upgrade to Improved Warehouse. Machinery Tower can be placed alongside for an industrial look. Mineshaft Entrance gives you a direct dig point from the surface.

Compressed Storage Blocks

Compress bulk materials into Compressed Stone, Double Compressed Stone, and Triple Compressed Stone. Do the same with Compressed Dirt and Double Compressed Dirt, Compressed Glowstone and Double Compressed Glowstone, Compressed Obsidian and Double Compressed Obsidian, and Compressed Quartz-Crete and Double Compressed Quartz-Crete. These save chest space and can be smelted or crafted back down.

Bulk Containers

Store goods in Wooden Crate and Compressed Chest. Use Crate of Carrots, Crate of Beets, Crate of Potatoes, Carton of Eggs, and Clutch of Eggs for food. Bundle of Timber, Heap of Timber, and Ton of Timber hold wood. Pallet of Bricks and Pile of Bricks hold masonry.

Defense and Access

Place Defense Bunker, Watch Tower, and Jail around the perimeter. Use Boundary Block to fence off areas. Instant Bridge lets you span gaps quickly. Ender Gateway and Nether Gate provide long-distance travel points.
