How to Build a Prefab Cabin or Lodge

Choosing the Structure

For a cabin-style base, place a Ski Lodge or Saloon. Both are standalone placements — you do not upgrade them from House. If you want a modular cabin that grows, start with House and upgrade through Improved House to Advanced House, then finish the exterior with timber blocks.

Timber and Exterior Blocks

Craft Bundle of Timber, Heap of Timber, and Ton of Timber for stacked log storage or decoration. Use Grass Slab, Grass Stairs, and Grass Wall for landscaping around the cabin. Quartz-Crete, Chiseled Quartz-Crete, Quartz-Crete Bricks, Quartz-Crete Pillar, Quartz-Crete Slab, Quartz-Crete Stairs, and Quartz-Crete Wall give a clean stone finish. Smooth Quartz-Crete and its slab and stair variants are the polished version.

Lighting and Interior

Hang Paper Lantern, String of Lanterns, or Coil of Lanterns. Place Dark Lamp for a dimmer look, and wire a Light Switch to control them. Glass Slab and Glass Stairs open up windows without full glass blocks.

Storage

Use Wooden Crate and Compressed Chest for supplies. Carton of Eggs and Crate of Carrots keep food organized. Pallet of Bricks and Pile of Bricks store masonry.
