The modern family starts at Modern and upgrades through Improved Modern to Advanced Modern. Place Modern first, then apply an Upgrade to push it to the next tier, and another to reach Advanced Modern. This gives you the clean, blocky look associated with modern prefab builds without laying a single wall by hand.

Cabin-Style Builds

For a cabin feel, place Ski Lodge directly. It stands on its own and does not need an upgrade chain. If you want a smaller rustic structure, House upgraded to Improved House works as a compact cabin, and Modular House gives you the largest residential option in the same family.

Finishing the Interior and Exterior

Once the shell is placed, furnish and finish with the matching block set. Quartz-Crete, Smooth Quartz-Crete, Quartz-Crete Bricks, Quartz-Crete Pillar, Chiseled Quartz-Crete, and the Quartz-Crete Slab, Quartz-Crete Stairs, and Quartz-Crete Wall variants let you extend the modern palette. Use Glass Slab and Glass Stairs for windows and openings. For landscaping, Grass Slab, Grass Stairs, Grass Wall, Dirt Slab, Dirt Stairs, and Dirt Wall blend the build into the terrain. Add Paper Lantern, Coil of Lanterns, or String of Lanterns for lighting, and control them with a Light Switch.
