Load and Manage Plugins on Your Server

Prepare Your Plugin Files

PowerNukkitX loads plugins from a designated plugins folder in your server directory. Download compatible plugins and place the .jar files into this folder. Ensure plugins are built for PowerNukkitX or compatible Nukkit versions.

Start the Server

When the server starts, it automatically scans the plugins folder and loads all valid plugin files. Watch the startup log to confirm each plugin loads without errors. If a plugin fails to load, check the log for missing dependencies or version conflicts.

Configure Plugin Settings

Many plugins create their own configuration folders inside the plugins directory after first load. Edit these config files to customize plugin behavior, then restart the server to apply changes.

Monitor Plugin Performance

Use in-game commands (if the plugin provides them) or server logs to check plugin status. Remove plugins by deleting their .jar files and restarting the server. Always back up your plugins folder before making major changes to avoid losing configurations.
