How to Set Up an Energizing Orb
Building the Setup
Place an Energizing Orb where you want the process to run. Surround it with Energizing Rod (Basic) blocks (or any tier: Blazing, Hardened, Niotic, Nitro, Spirited, Starter) so the Orb has a power source to draw from. Run Energy Cable (Basic) from your generator or storage into the Energizing Rods. The Orb itself does not accept cables directly — the Rods feed it.
Running a Recipe
Drop the input item onto the Energizing Orb by right-clicking it with the item in hand. The Orb will begin consuming energy from the connected Energizing Rods. Recipes in the powah:energizing category include converting materials into Energized Steel, Blazing Crystal, Niotic Crystal, Nitro Crystal, Spirited Crystal, and Uraninite-related outputs. Wait for the animation to finish, then right-click the Orb to collect the result.
Powering the Rods
Each Energizing Rod tier has a different energy buffer and transfer rate. Energizing Rod (Starter) is the cheapest and slowest; Energizing Rod (Nitro) is the fastest. Match the Rod tier to your generator output. If the Orb stalls, check that the Rods are receiving energy — a Basic Capacitor or Energy Cell (Basic) between the generator and the Rods helps buffer spikes. Upgrade Rods one tier at a time as your power production grows.
