How to Generate Power with Furnator and Magmator

Furnator Setup

Craft a Furnator (Basic). Place it and open its GUI. Insert a burnable fuel (coal, wood, etc.) into the fuel slot. The Furnator generates energy and outputs it to adjacent Energy Cable (Basic) or directly into an Energy Cell (Basic) placed next to it. Furnator (Starter) is the cheapest tier; Furnator (Nitro) produces the most energy per tick. Upgrade by crafting the next tier up — each tier burns fuel faster but yields more total energy.

Magmator Setup

Craft a Magmator (Basic). The Magmator runs on lava. Place a lava source adjacent to it, or pipe lava in using a bucket. It converts lava into energy continuously while lava is available. Connect Energy Cable (Basic) from the Magmator to your Energy Cell (Basic) or Battery (Basic). Magmator (Starter) is the entry tier; Magmator (Spirited) is the highest listed tier.

Combining Sources

Run both a Furnator (Basic) and a Magmator (Basic) into the same Energy Cell (Basic) using Energy Cable (Basic). The Cell accepts input from multiple sides. If one source stalls, the other continues filling. Use Energy Hopper (Basic) to move power from the Cell into a separate network, or Energy Discharger (Basic) to feed machines directly. Match cable tier to generator tier to avoid transfer bottlenecks.
