How to Build a Basic Power Storage System

Choosing Storage Blocks

Powah offers three storage families: Battery, Energy Cell, and Capacitor. Battery (Starter) is the smallest single-block buffer. Energy Cell (Starter) stores more and exposes configurable sides. Basic Capacitor is a crafting component, not a storage block — do not place it expecting it to hold power. For a first setup, craft one Energy Cell (Basic) and place it near your generator.

Wiring Generator to Storage

Place your generator (for example Furnator (Basic) or Magmator (Basic)) adjacent to the Energy Cell (Basic). Connect them with Energy Cable (Basic) if they are not touching. Right-click the cable with a Binding Card to link endpoints if you need to route around blocks. The Energy Cell will fill as the generator runs. Check the Cell's GUI to confirm it is receiving energy.

Expanding Capacity

When the Cell fills too quickly, add more Energy Cell (Basic) blocks in a line and connect them with Energy Cable (Basic). Each Cell stores independently, so total capacity is the sum. For higher tiers, upgrade to Energy Cell (Hardened), Energy Cell (Blazing), Energy Cell (Niotic), Energy Cell (Nitro), or Energy Cell (Spirited) — each tier stores more and transfers faster. Use Energy Hopper (Basic) to move power between separate networks without direct cable runs.
