Optimizing Performance on Lower-End Hardware

Check Current Frame Rate

Enable the FPS counter (usually F3 key) to see your current performance. Post'n'Stuff! is lightweight, but older computers may need tweaks.

Reduce Bloom and AO Intensity

Open shader options and lower bloom strength and ambient occlusion values. These are the most performance-intensive visual features. Reducing them to 50% or less can significantly improve frame rates while keeping the shader's character.

Disable Optional Effects

Look for toggles for color grading, post-processing, or other enhancement features. Disabling non-essential effects preserves performance without removing the core ambient occlusion and bloom that define Post'n'Stuff!.

Adjust Render Distance

If frame rate is still low, reduce your render distance in Video Settings. This affects the shader less than world generation, but helps overall performance.

Test and Balance

Load a familiar area and check your FPS. Post'n'Stuff! should run smoothly even on modest systems—if it doesn't, your settings are too high. Gradually increase visual quality until you find a comfortable balance between looks and performance.
