Using the Interdimensional Module for Cross-Dimension Portals
Build the Base Portal First
Start with a complete Portal Frame outlining the opening, then place a Portal Controller on the frame. Give the controller power by placing a Low Efficiency Generator nearby and connecting it. Without energy, the controller cannot run the portal, so confirm the generator is feeding the controller before adding anything else.
Attach the Interdimensional Module
The Interdimensional Module is the component that lets the portal link across dimensions. Attach it to the Portal Controller alongside your other modules. If you also want the portal to move resources, add the matching module:
- Item Module for items.
- Fluid Module for fluids.
- Energy Module for energy.
The Interdimensional Module handles the cross-dimension behavior; the other modules handle what passes through. Add only the ones your build needs.
Travel Through the Link
With the frame built, the Portal Controller powered by the Low Efficiency Generator, and the Interdimensional Module attached, the portal can connect to another dimension. Use a Teleportation Token when traveling through the link. If the portal fails to connect, recheck that the Interdimensional Module is attached to the controller and that the Low Efficiency Generator is still supplying power. Keep the frame intact, since a broken frame interrupts the portal structure.
