How to Power a Portal Controller with the Low Efficiency Generator

Place and Connect the Generator

Craft a Low Efficiency Generator and place it within reach of your Portal Controller. The generator is the energy source for the portal, and the Portal Controller is the block that consumes that energy to keep the portal running. Position the generator so it can feed the controller, then place the Portal Controller as part of your Portal Frame structure.

Route Energy to the Controller

Once both blocks are placed, ensure the Low Efficiency Generator is supplying the Portal Controller. The controller will not operate the portal without energy, so this connection is the key step. If the portal does not activate, check that the generator is present and linked to the controller before adjusting anything else.

Add Modules for What You Want to Move

With power handled, attach the modules that match your needs to the Portal Controller:
