How to Build a Working Portal with the Portality Mod

Assemble the Frame and Controller

Place Portal Frame blocks to outline the portal opening. The frame defines the shape the portal will occupy, so build the full outline before adding anything else. Once the frame is complete, place a Portal Controller on or against the frame. The Portal Controller is the block that activates and manages the portal, so it must be part of the structure.

Power and Configure the Portal

A Portal Controller needs energy to run. Place a Low Efficiency Generator nearby and connect it to the Portal Controller so the portal has a power source. The Low Efficiency Generator produces the energy the controller consumes when the portal is active.

To decide what the portal moves, attach modules to the controller:

• Item Module: handles item transfer through the portal.
• Fluid Module: handles fluid transfer through the portal.
• Energy Module: handles energy transfer through the portal.
• Interdimensional Module: allows the portal to link across dimensions.

Add only the modules you need for your setup. With the frame built, the Portal Controller placed, power supplied by the Low Efficiency Generator, and the relevant modules attached, the portal is ready to use. Keep a Teleportation Token on hand for travel through the link.
