Search Efficiently as the Seeker
Develop a Search Pattern
Don't wander randomly. Instead, plan a systematic route through the village—for example, clear all ground-floor rooms in one building before moving to the next, or sweep from one end of the village to the other. This prevents you from missing areas and wasting time.
Check Common Hiding Spots First
Experienced hiders often use the same locations repeatedly. Prioritize searching behind doors, in dark corners, inside towers, and in less-trafficked rooms. Look up and down—don't assume hiders are at eye level.
Listen and Watch for Movement
Pay attention to sounds: footsteps, doors opening, or items shifting. Watch for movement in your peripheral vision. Hiders sometimes panic and run when they think they're about to be found, giving away their position.
Narrow Down Possibilities
If you've checked most of the village and found few hiders, they're likely in a few remaining buildings. Focus your search there and check more thoroughly. Don't give up—some spots are genuinely clever.
Manage Your Time
Keep track of how much time remains. If you're running low, focus on high-probability areas rather than obscure corners.
