How to Craft and Use Mossy Pressure Plates

Crafting the Mossy Variants

The mod includes three mossy plates: Mossy Cobblestone Pressure Plate, Mossy Pressure Plate, and Invisible Mossy Cobblestone Pressure Plate. Each is made with a shaped recipe. For the Mossy Cobblestone Pressure Plate, use Mossy Cobblestone blocks in the standard pressure plate layout: fill the bottom row of the crafting grid with Mossy Cobblestone and leave the top rows empty.

The Mossy Pressure Plate follows the same shaped pattern using its own ingredient set. The Invisible Mossy Cobblestone Pressure Plate is the hidden version of the mossy cobblestone plate, so craft it the same way but select the invisible output.

Where to Place Them

Mossy plates suit builds that already use mossy stone, such as ruins, overgrown bases, and swamp or jungle structures. Place a Mossy Cobblestone Pressure Plate on a block face and step on it to trigger redstone. Use the Invisible Mossy Cobblestone Pressure Plate when you want the same trigger without a visible plate on the floor.

Because these are pressure plates, they activate while an entity stands on them and turn off when the entity steps away. Combine a visible mossy plate at a doorway with a hidden one inside a corridor to control the same redstone line from two locations.
