Inspect Before You Install

Place an Analyzer to read chip and seed data before committing them to a machine or a plant. The Advanced Analyzer performs the same inspection role with more detail. Use either to confirm a chip's tier — Armor Chip v1.0 versus v2.0 versus v3.0, for example — before slotting it into a machine.

Use the Chipalyzer for Deeper Work

For chip-specific analysis and processing, place a Chipalyzer with its Chipalyzer Bulb. The Chipalyzer handles the planttech2:chipalyzer recipe type and is where Blank Upgrade Chip becomes a finished chip. Run a chip through the Analyzer first, then through the Chipalyzer if it needs upgrading to the next tier.

Identify Seeds and Particles

Use the Analyzer on Seeds and Particles to confirm which type you are holding. With 714 registered entries, mixing up Aluminum Seeds and Alumite Seeds or Blitz Seeds and Blizz Seeds is easy. A quick scan prevents wasted planting and wasted Chipalyzer runs.

Keep a Reference Chest

Store one of each analyzed chip tier — Armor Chip, Attack Chip, Attack Speed Chip, Breakdown Rate Chip, Capacity Chip, plus specialty chips like Aqua Affinity Chip, Bane of Arthropods Chip, and Blast Protection Chip — in a labeled chest next to the Analyzer so you can compare tiers at a glance.
