Smelt Aluminum Ingot from raw materials in a furnace. Store spare ingots in an Aluminum Block for compact storage. Raw ore blocks like Block of Raw Bauxite, Block of Raw Platinum, Block of Raw Silver, and Block of Raw Silicon are separate materials — do not confuse them with aluminum.

Crafting the Tool Set

From Aluminum Ingot you can craft a full tier of gear: Aluminum Helmet, Aluminum Chestplate, Aluminum Leggings, Aluminum Boots, Aluminum Sword, Aluminum Pickaxe, Aluminum Shovel, Aluminum Axe, Aluminum Hoe, and Aluminum Hammer. Use the standard shaped recipes for armor and tools, placing ingots in the usual patterns on a crafting table. The Aluminum Hammer is the standout — it mines in a wider area than a normal pickaxe, so bring it for clearing stone and ore veins quickly.

Base and Storage

Craft an Aluminum Base to anchor your aluminum-themed builds, and an Aluminum Block for storage or decoration. Because aluminum gear sits below diamond in durability, keep a spare set of Aluminum Ingots in your inventory so you can recraft broken pieces on the road. Pair the Aluminum Hammer with a stack of blocks for scaffolding while you mine.
