Smelt Bauxite into Ingots

Mine Bauxite ore and store it as a Block of Raw Bauxite if you need compact storage. Smelt or blast the raw material to produce Aluminum Ingot. Nine Aluminum Ingot combine into an Aluminum Block for bulk storage, and the block can be reversed back into ingots when you need them.

Craft the Tool and Armor Set

With Aluminum Ingot in hand you can craft a full kit using standard shaped recipes:

• Aluminum Sword, Aluminum Pickaxe, Aluminum Axe, Aluminum Shovel, Aluminum Hoe
• Aluminum Helmet, Aluminum Chestplate, Aluminum Leggings, Aluminum Boots
• Aluminum Hammer for heavier mining work
• Aluminum Base as a crafting component for other recipes

Equip the armor pieces in the usual slots. The tools behave like their vanilla counterparts, so use the pickaxe on stone and ores, the axe on wood, the shovel on dirt and sand, and the hoe on farmland. Keep a spare Aluminum Ingot stack in your inventory so you can repair or replace worn pieces without returning to base. If you smelted with a blast furnace you will have produced ingots faster, which matters when kitting out a full set at once.
