Adjusting Shader Brightness and Contrast

Access Shader Settings

Open your in-game options menu and look for the Shader Options or Video Settings panel. Pixelated Shaders provides adjustment sliders that let you fine-tune how bright or dark your world appears.

Customize Lighting to Your Preference

Locate the brightness and contrast controls. Increase brightness if caves feel too dark or if you want softer shadows during the day. Reduce it if sunlit areas feel washed out. Contrast adjustments help make blocks stand out more or blend together for a softer appearance.

Test Your Changes

After adjusting settings, move to different environments—caves, forests, and open sky—to see how your changes look. Pixelated Shaders applies these adjustments globally, so test in varied lighting conditions. You can always return to settings and tweak further if needed.

Save Your Configuration

Once satisfied, your shader settings save automatically. If you switch shader packs and return to Pixelated, your preferences remain intact, so you won't need to reconfigure.
