How to Craft Poseidon Gear

Poseidon equipment is built around Poseidon's Tear and Elder Prismarine Shard.

Poseidon Materials

Poseidon's Tear is the core ingredient. Store extras as Block of Poseidons Tear. Elder Prismarine Shard is the second key material and appears in the higher-tier recipes. Gather both before starting, since Poseidon recipes consume them directly.

Poseidon Weapons

Three weapons use Poseidon materials: Poseidon Axe, Poseidon Cutlass, and Poseidon Boarding Axe. Each is crafted with its respective mold — Cutlass Mold for the cutlass, Boarding Axe Mold for the boarding axe. Poseidon Axe is the standalone axe entry.

Gilded Poseidon Weapons

Gilded Poseidon Cutlass and Gilded Poseidon Boarding Axe are the top of the line. Both require Gold Leaf in addition to the base weapon and are made at a smithing table. Because Gold Leaf is consumed per upgrade, decide which of the two you want first rather than gilding both at once.

Oceans Knowledge and Oceans Staff are additional Poseidon-adjacent items in the registry; check their recipes in JEI to see what they consume. Frosted Catalyst, Frosted Summoner, Frosted Spawn Egg, and Hoar Frost Spawn Egg relate to the Frosted and Hoar Frost content and are separate from the Poseidon line.
