How to Craft Divinity Netherite Armor

Getting the Ingot

Divinity Netherite armor is made from Divinity Netherite Ingot, not vanilla netherite. You need four ingots total for a full set: one each for the helmet, chestplate, leggings, and boots. The ingot is produced through a smithing recipe, so gather your base netherite armor pieces and the Divinity Netherite Ingot before you start.

Smithing Each Piece

Use a smithing table for every piece. Place the matching vanilla netherite armor piece in the base slot and a Divinity Netherite Ingot in the addition slot. The four outputs are Divinity Netherite Helmet, Divinity Netherite Chestplate, Divinity Netherite Leggings, and Divinity Netherite Boots. Each conversion consumes one ingot, so plan for four ingots if you want the whole set.

Order of Operations

Upgrade the chestplate and leggings first — they cover the most damage and are the pieces you will notice most while exploring the Nether. Keep spare ingots if you plan to re-roll or replace pieces later. Because the recipe type is smithing, you cannot substitute a crafting table; the smithing table is required for all four armor conversions.
