What a Paxel Does

A Paxel combines the functions of a pickaxe, axe, and shovel in one tool. Pickle Tweaks adds Paxels in every material tier: Wooden Paxel, Stone Paxel, Flint Paxel, Copper Paxel, Iron Paxel, Golden Paxel, Diamond Paxel, Emerald Paxel, and Netherite Paxel.

Crafting Paxels by Tier

Each Paxel is made with a shaped recipe using the material of its tier. Start with the Wooden Paxel, then progress to Stone, Flint, Copper, Iron, Golden, Diamond, Emerald, and finally Netherite as you gather better materials. Because a Paxel covers three tool roles, it saves inventory space and lets you mine, chop, and dig without swapping items.

Pair your Paxel with the matching Sickle and Scythe from the same tier. Sickles and Scythes are also available in Wooden, Stone, Flint, Copper, Iron, Golden, Diamond, Emerald, and Netherite versions, each crafted with shaped recipes. Together, a Paxel, Sickle, and Scythe from one tier give you a full set of gathering tools. Upgrade to the next tier whenever you obtain the required material, and keep your old Paxel as a backup.
