Crafting Emerald Tools, Weapons, and Armor

Emerald gear is a full tier covering tools, weapons, and armor, using emeralds instead of diamonds.

Emerald Tools and Weapons

Emerald Pickaxe, Emerald Axe, Emerald Shovel, Emerald Hoe, Emerald Sword, Emerald Spear, Emerald Sickle, Emerald Scythe, and Emerald Paxel are all craftable. Use emeralds and sticks in the standard tool shapes. The Emerald Paxel combines pickaxe, axe, and shovel. The Emerald Spear gives extra reach in combat.

Emerald Armor

Emerald Helmet, Emerald Chestplate, Emerald Leggings, and Emerald Boots form a full set. Craft them like other armor with emeralds in place of diamonds. Wear the full set for protection comparable to diamond.

Getting Emeralds

Emeralds come from trading with villagers or from emerald ore in mountains. Once you have a steady supply, craft the pieces you need most. Start with the Emerald Paxel and Emerald Sword, then fill out the armor set.

Upgrading

Emerald gear sits between diamond and netherite. If you already have diamond gear, emerald is an alternative path when emeralds are easier to obtain. Netherite Paxel, Netherite Sickle, and Netherite Scythe are made by smithing transform from their diamond versions.
