Transferring Fluids with Fluid Black Hole and Fluid White Hole

Building the Fluid Pair

Craft a Fluid Black Hole and a Fluid White Hole from Phosphophyllite materials. These are the liquid-handling counterparts to the Item pair, and they follow the same receive/emit logic.

Place the Fluid Black Hole at the source of the liquid — against a tank, a pump output, or wherever the fluid collects. Place the Fluid White Hole at the destination, such as an input tank or a drain point.

Routing Liquid Between Locations

Once both blocks are placed, liquid entering the Fluid Black Hole is emitted from the Fluid White Hole. This lets you move fluids across distances without laying pipe.

Make sure the Fluid White Hole has somewhere to output. If the destination tank is full or the output face is blocked, the transfer stalls. Clear space at the White Hole and confirm the receiving container can accept the fluid type you are sending.

Keep the Fluid Black Hole supplied. If the source tank runs dry or the input face is obstructed, nothing reaches the White Hole.

Use separate Fluid pairs for separate liquids so you do not mix contents at a shared destination. If you later need to move energy instead of liquid, switch to the Power Black Hole and Power White Hole, which use the same paired-block approach.
