Setting Up an Item Black Hole and Item White Hole Pair

Placing the Pair

Craft one Item Black Hole and one Item White Hole from Phosphophyllite materials. Place the Item Black Hole where items are generated or collected, and place the Item White Hole where you want those items to arrive.

The two blocks form a linked transfer pair. The Item Black Hole takes items in; the Item White Hole pushes them out at its location. Position the White Hole over a chest, hopper line, or drop point so the output lands where you need it.

Moving Items Reliably

Feed the Item Black Hole by dropping items onto it or routing them in from your existing collection setup. Anything the Black Hole accepts will appear at the Item White Hole.

If items are not arriving, check that both blocks are placed and that the White Hole has space to output into. A White Hole blocked by a full container will stop the flow.

Use this pair for long-distance item transport where running hopper lines is impractical. Because the blocks are separate, you can place the Black Hole at a farm and the White Hole at your storage room without any physical connection between them.

Once the Item pair works, apply the same placement logic to Fluid Black Hole and Fluid White Hole for liquids, and to Power Black Hole and Power White Hole for energy.
