Understand Perry Light's Colored Lighting

Perry Light automatically applies warm, pleasant colors to torches and other light-emitting blocks. This creates a cozy atmosphere without requiring any configuration.

Maximize Lighting Effects

To see the colored lighting at its best:

• Place torches strategically: Position them near surfaces where you want warm light to be visible. Walls and ceilings show the effect most clearly.
• Use multiple light sources: Combine torches with other luminous blocks like lanterns or soul torches to layer different light colors.
• Adjust time of day: Visit your lit areas at night when the contrast between shader lighting and darkness is most apparent.

Tweak Saturation Settings

If the colored lighting feels too subtle or too intense:

1. Open the shader settings menu

2. Locate the light color saturation slider

3. Increase for warmer, more vibrant torch glow

4. Decrease for a more subdued, natural appearance

Experiment with different values in your base to find the balance that feels right for your playstyle.
