Enable and Control Foliage Animation

Activate Foliage Movement

Perry Light includes gentle waving animation for grass, leaves, and plants. This feature is enabled by default but can be adjusted or disabled if needed.

Adjust Wave Intensity

Access the shader settings menu and find the foliage wave or vegetation movement slider:

  • Higher values: Grass and leaves sway more dramatically, creating a more dynamic, windy appearance
  • Lower values: Subtle, gentle movement that's less distracting
  • Zero/Off: Disables animation entirely for maximum performance

See the Effect Best

Foliage animation is most noticeable in:

  • Large grass fields and plains
  • Dense forests with many leaf blocks
  • Tall grass and seagrass areas
  • Custom gardens or landscaping

Performance Consideration

If foliage animation causes frame drops on your system, reduce the intensity slider rather than disabling it completely. Even minimal movement adds life to your world while keeping performance stable. Test different settings while standing in a grassy area to find your optimal balance.
