Adjust Shader Settings for Your Hardware
Access the Shader Menu
Press the shader settings key (usually Shift + O or accessible through your mod menu) to open the Perry Light Shaders configuration panel.
Choose Your Performance Preset
Perry Light offers three main preset tiers:
- Potato mode: Minimal visual effects with maximum performance. Use this if you're experiencing frame drops or playing on very low-end hardware.
- Low preset: Balanced settings that maintain vanilla aesthetics while adding subtle lighting improvements.
- Medium preset: Enhanced colored lighting and foliage movement with moderate performance impact.
Fine-Tune Individual Settings
Within each preset, you can adjust:
- Foliage wave intensity: Control how much grass and leaves sway
- Light color saturation: Increase or decrease how vibrant torch and block lighting appears
- Shadow softness: Adjust the smoothness of light transitions
Apply and Test
After changing settings, the shader reloads automatically. Walk around your world to verify performance and visual quality match your expectations. If frame rate drops, move to a lower preset or reduce individual effect intensities.
