ParCool Zipline Hook and Rope Recipe Progression

What you need to gather

ParCool's zipline system uses three registry entries: Iron Zipline Hook, Wooden Zipline Hook, and Zipline Rope. The hooks are blocks; the rope is the connecting item. Gather the base materials for the hook recipes and the rope recipe before you start, so you can craft everything in one session at a crafting table.

Crafting order

1. Craft a Wooden Zipline Hook first. It is the entry point into the system and lets you test a line without spending iron.

2. Craft Zipline Rope. You need rope for every line you build, and one rope connects one pair of hooks.

3. Craft an Iron Zipline Hook once you have iron. Swap it in for hooks on routes you use repeatedly.

All of these come from crafting table recipes: the hooks use shaped recipes, and the rope uses its own recipe. Follow the exact grid layout shown in the recipe book for each.

Scaling up

Each line consumes two hooks and at least one Zipline Rope. For a network, craft hooks and rope in batches rather than one at a time. Keep spare Wooden Zipline Hook blocks in your inventory for quick temporary lines and reserve Iron Zipline Hook blocks for permanent routes between bases.
