How to Craft Horizontal Glass Panes

What horizontal panes are for

Horizontal Glass Pane and its colored relatives — such as Black Plain Horizontal Glass Pane, Blue Stained Horizontal Glass Pane, and Lime Tinted Horizontal Glass Pane — are separate blocks from the vertical edge-aligned panes. They place with a horizontal orientation, which is useful for railings, shelf fronts, and stacked window bands where a vertical pane would look wrong.

Crafting steps

All horizontal variants come from the pitg:glass_pane_table recipe type. Place the matching vertical pane into the Glass Pane Table to receive the horizontal version. For example, feed Blue Plain Glass Pane (edge aligned) to get Blue Plain Horizontal Glass Pane. The same conversion works for every color and every finish: Plain, Stained, and Tinted. If you already have a Dual pane, check the table for the matching horizontal output before crafting a new one from scratch.

Building a matched set

Decide on a color and finish first, then craft the vertical pane, then convert to horizontal at the table. Because the mod registers 146 table recipes, nearly every pane has a direct horizontal counterpart. Keep one of each vertical pane in storage so you can convert on demand rather than re-dyeing from raw glass each time.
