Getting a Sapling

Every tree in this mod starts from a Sapling block. The Saplings you can plant include Acorn Sapling, Almond Sapling, Apple Sapling, Apricot Sapling, Avocado Sapling, Banana Sapling, Breadfruit Sapling, Candlenut Sapling, Cashew Sapling, Cherry Sapling, Chestnut Sapling, Cinnamon Sapling, Coconut Sapling, Date Sapling, Dragonfruit Sapling, Durian Sapling, Fig Sapling, Gooseberry Sapling, Grapefruit Sapling, Guava Sapling, Hazelnut Sapling, Jackfruit Sapling, Lemon Sapling, Lime Sapling, Lychee Sapling, Mango Sapling, Maple Sapling, Nutmeg Sapling, Olive Sapling, Orange Sapling, Papaya Sapling, Paperbark Sapling, Passionfruit Sapling, Pawpaw Sapling, Peach Sapling, Pear Sapling, Pecan Sapling, Peppercorn Sapling, Persimmon Sapling, Pinenut Sapling, Pistachio Sapling, Plum Sapling, Pomegranate Sapling, Rambutan Sapling, Soursop Sapling, Spiderweb Sapling, Starfruit Sapling, Tamarind Sapling, Vanillabean Sapling, and Walnut Sapling.

Planting and Growing

Place the Sapling on dirt or grass like a vanilla sapling. Give it light and space above so the trunk and canopy can form. Once grown, the tree produces its matching fruit or nut, which you harvest by breaking the leaf or fruit block. Harvested drops feed directly into the mod's crafting and cooking recipes, so plant several varieties early to keep a steady supply.

Why Plant Multiple Types

Different Saplings yield different ingredients. Nut-bearing Saplings such as Acorn Sapling, Almond Sapling, Cashew Sapling, Chestnut Sapling, Hazelnut Sapling, Pecan Sapling, Pinenut Sapling, Pistachio Sapling, and Walnut Sapling give you nuts that can be roasted. Fruit Saplings give fresh fruit for eating and crafting. Plant a mix so you always have the item a recipe calls for.
