Baking Pies, Cakes, and Muffins
The Crust and Batter Base
Pies need Dough for the crust. Cakes and muffins need Batter. Before you bake anything, confirm you have Flour processed into the right intermediate. Without Dough or Batter you cannot start a pie or cake.
Pie Line
Apple Pie, Carrot Pie, Chocolate Pie, Chorus Pie, and Caramel Pie are the fruit and sweet pies. Savory pies — Beef Pot Pie, Chicken Pot Pie, and Fish Pot Pie — use meat or fish as the filling instead of fruit. Each pie takes its named filling plus a Dough crust.
Cake Line
Carrot Cake, Cheese Cake, and Chocolate Cake are the three cakes. Cheese Cake uses Cheese from Fresh Milk. Carrot Cake uses Carrot. Chocolate Cake uses Chocolate Bar or Cocoa Powder as the chocolate source.
Muffin Line
Apple Muffin, Carrot Muffin, Chocolate Muffin, and Chorus Muffin each pair a flavor ingredient with Batter. Glow Berry Muffin follows the same pattern with Glow Berry.
Donuts and Rolls
Donuts overlap heavily with the muffin and pie flavors: Apple Donut, Caramel Donut, Carrot Donut, Chocolate Donut, and Chorus Donut. Chocolate Roll is a separate rolled pastry. Bakeware is the block you place to run these recipes — keep one next to your ingredient chests.
