Creating Cinematic Screenshots with Pack & White

Position Your Camera

Find a visually interesting location—dramatic terrain, a detailed build, or a scenic landscape. Use third-person view (press F5) to frame your character in the shot, or stay in first-person for immersive angles.

Adjust Lighting Conditions

Time of day affects how Pack & White renders your scene. Dawn and dusk create softer gray gradients, while midday produces high contrast between light and shadow. Experiment with different times to match your desired mood.

Disable UI Elements

Press F1 to hide your hotbar, health bar, and other HUD elements. This creates a cleaner, more cinematic frame.

Capture Your Screenshot

Press F2 to take a screenshot. Minecraft saves it to your screenshots folder automatically.

Post-Processing (Optional)

The monochrome effect already gives your images a classic film aesthetic. You can enhance this further with image editing software by adjusting levels, adding grain, or increasing contrast—though Pack & White's output often looks polished without additional editing.

Tip: Compose shots with strong silhouettes and depth to make the most of grayscale's tonal range.
