Adjusting Brightness and Contrast in Pack & White

Access Shader Settings

Open your shader options menu while in-game. This is typically found in Video Settings > Shaders > Shader Options, though the exact path depends on your launcher.

Fine-Tune Monochrome Levels

Look for brightness or contrast sliders specific to Pack & White. These controls let you adjust how dark the blacks appear and how bright the whites become, helping you find a comfortable viewing level for different times of day and lighting conditions.

Test in Different Environments

Walk through caves, forests, and open areas to see how your adjustments look across varied lighting. Underground areas will appear much darker, while sunlit surfaces will be brighter. Adjust until you can comfortably distinguish block details in both bright and dim locations.

Save Your Preferences

Once satisfied, your settings are automatically saved. If you switch shaders and return to Pack & White later, your custom brightness and contrast values will be restored.

Tip: If the world feels too washed out, increase contrast. If it's too harsh, reduce brightness slightly.
