Using the Copper Kiln, Copper Nugget, and Copper Pan Chain

Feeding the Copper Kiln

The Copper Kiln is a placed block and the start of the copper-processing chain. Place it, then load copper materials into it. The Kiln outputs Copper Nugget, the small unit used by several other recipes in the mod.

Run the Kiln continuously while you work nearby. Copper Nugget is the input for the Copper Pan, so a steady Kiln supply keeps your Pan crafting and processing from stalling.

Turning Nuggets into Tools

The Copper Pan is a crafting_shaped recipe built from Copper Nuggets arranged in a U-shape. Craft one Pan per processing station you plan to run, since the Pan is held rather than placed.

Copper Nugget also feeds other copper items in the mod, so do not spend your whole stock on Pans. Reserve a buffer for the Copper Button, Copper Lantern, and Copper Trap, which share the same copper material base. If you smelt or process in bulk, split your Nugget output: one stack for Pans, one for placed copper blocks, one held back for emergencies.

Pair the chain with a Copper Barometer to monitor conditions while the Kiln runs, and a Copper Pulsar if you want timed behavior in the same area. The Kiln-to-Nugget-to-Pan loop is the core progression for anyone using copper tools in this mod.
