Getting the Rose Gold Upgrade Template

The Rose Gold Upgrade Template is the key item for converting tools to Rose Gold. Obtain the template first, then combine it with the tool you want to upgrade. The upgrade uses a smithing_transform recipe, so you need a smithing table rather than a crafting grid.

Place the template, your base tool, and the required Rose Gold material into the smithing table slots. The transform recipe outputs the Rose Gold version of that tool.

Which Tools Upgrade

Five tools have Rose Gold versions: Rose Gold Axe, Rose Gold Hoe, Rose Gold Pickaxe, Rose Gold Shovel, and Rose Gold Sword. Each one is produced through its own smithing_transform recipe using the template and the matching base tool.

Upgrade the tool you use most first. A Rose Gold Pickaxe pays off fastest if you mine constantly; a Rose Gold Sword or Axe suits combat and woodcutting. Keep one template on hand per upgrade, since each transform consumes it.

Because the template is a single item type shared across all five tools, you can stockpile templates and upgrade your whole kit in one session. Bring your base tools, your templates, and your Rose Gold material to a smithing table and work through them one at a time.
