How to Make and Use a Copper Pan

Crafting the Copper Pan

The Copper Pan is a crafting_shaped recipe. Place Copper Nuggets in a U-shape in a crafting grid: fill the left column, the bottom row, and the right column with Copper Nuggets, leaving the center slot empty. This produces one Copper Pan.

Copper Nuggets come from processing copper through the Copper Kiln, so build a Copper Kiln first if you do not have one. Feed it copper materials and collect the Copper Nugget output, then stockpile at least seven nuggets for a single Pan.

Using the Copper Pan

Hold the Copper Pan and use it on the block or entity you want to process. The Pan is a handheld tool, not a placed block, so it stays in your inventory between uses. Keep it in your hotbar for quick access while working near a Copper Kiln or Copper Lantern setup.

Because the Pan consumes Copper Nuggets as part of its crafting cost, craft several at once if you plan to process in bulk. Pair the Pan with the Copper Kiln: the Kiln produces Copper Nuggets, and the Pan puts them to work. If you also run a Copper Barometer or Copper Pulsar nearby, the Pan fits into the same copper-processing chain without extra setup.
