Overweight Farming Mod: Full Progression from Peels to Golden Apple Block

Progression Order

The mod's content forms a single chain. Work through it in this order so you never waste ingredients:

1. Vegetable Peels — the raw starting material.

2. Vegetable Compost — crafted from Vegetable Peels via shapeless recipes.

3. Waxed Seeded Peeled Melon, Waxed Seedless Peeled Melon, Waxed Half Seeded Peeled Melon — crafted blocks that consume Compost and other ingredients.

4. Overweight Golden Apple Block — the top-tier block, crafted with shaped recipes using Compost.

Recipe Types You Will Use

The mod contains two recipe types: crafting_shapeless and crafting_shaped. Shapeless recipes ignore grid position — only the correct items and counts matter. Shaped recipes require exact slot placement, so mirror the recipe layout precisely.

Plan your crafting around this split. When a recipe is shapeless, you can dump ingredients in any order. When it is shaped, count rows and columns before placing anything.

Practical Tips

• Keep a buffer of Vegetable Compost at all times; it is the bottleneck ingredient for every higher block.
• Craft the three Waxed Peeled Melon variants separately — each has its own output.
• Save your Compost for the Overweight Golden Apple Block if that is your end goal, since shaped recipes for it will consume your stock.
• Store finished blocks together so you can see at a glance which variants you still need to craft.
