How to Craft Black Opal Tools and Armour

Gathering the Material

Black Opal tools and armour are crafted from Black Opal. Obtain Black Opal by mining Black Opal Ore, Deepslate Black Opal Ore, Nether Black Opal Ore or End Black Opal Ore with a pickaxe. The ore also has smelting and blasting recipes, so you can process it in a furnace or blast furnace before crafting. Collect enough Black Opal for every piece you plan to make.

Crafting the Gear

The Black Opal line covers a full set of tools and armour:

• Black Opal Sword
• Black Opal Pickaxe
• Black Opal Axe
• Black Opal Shovel
• Black Opal Hoe
• Black Opal Helmet
• Black Opal Chestplate
• Black Opal Leggings
• Black Opal Boots

Each piece is made through a crafting recipe using Black Opal. Arrange the material in the standard tool and armour patterns at a crafting table. You can also craft a Black Opal Block from Black Opal for storage.

Practical Order

Craft the pickaxe first so you can keep mining more Black Opal, then the sword and armour pieces. Fill in the axe, shovel and hoe as material allows.
